Digital Gradient Indication Assembly
A digital panel meter and differential pressure transducer designed to
electronically measure the differential pressure in the upstream and downstream of
the test device. This allows greater accuracy in attaining desired test gradients,
particularly sub 0.1 gradients. This assembly includes serial output for
communication with a PC

Auxiliary Pneumatic Loading Ram
Four-inch bore cylinder and mount to deliver loads from below 50 pounds to
over 700 pounds with 100 psi. This ram will be operated with the pressure regulator
provided with the transmissivity device. Mount adapters will be provided with the
ram for the 2,000 and / or 5,000 pound load cells. AF-C-AG-750


AF-C-WC-010 Water Collection Assembly
This assembly is designed to collect the discharged water from the downstream of
a Transmissivity device and measure three flow values upon demand.
The discharged water is collected in a measuring tank configured for use in
measuring water volume. The test water is allowed to discharge from the
measuring tank through a valve until a flow-measuring event is desired.
When the technician desires to measure the flow. The discharge valve in
the measuring tank is closed. (An over flow feature in the measuring box will direct
any over flow water to the water circulation system of the Transmissivity device.)
Following this, a start button on the flow monitoring instrument panel will initiate the
flow measuring protocol and collect the flow data for three data points
automatically.
The flow monitoring instrument panel assembly consists of 3 resetable
timers scaled in seconds (0000.000sec). The timers and the control electronics
are mounted in an enclosure.
Contacts are positioned in a calibrated tank to start and stop each of the
three timers sequentially. The time it takes to reach each contact is equal to a
calculated volume of water. Additional contacts positions can be selected by a
switch. These selectable contacts offer a wider range of volume between contacts.
At the end of the water collection, the collection tank valve is opened and
the collection tank drains.
(The approximate size of collection tank sizing and collection ranges are
based on input from the purchaser. In some cases some tank sizes will require
additional fees)

The first meter acts as the controlling device for the assembly. This meter is
programmed to function as a control timer. The technician can select and display
the amount of time desired to determine the flow rate of each of the three collection
points. This time value may be set and locked out to prevent accidental changing
of the collection time.
The other three meters are programmed to display and hold the volume of
the water collected at the completion of each collection time. (Volume over time
=flow)
The time and the weight (volume) of the collection will be displayed until the
panel is reset upon the start of the next measurement set.
Following the flow measurement, the discharge valve is opened and the
water from the measuring tank is released.

With the above hardware and software, a Transmissivity device equipped with :
BT load cell and Display (normal load) BT digital gradient indication system
BT temperature indication system BT Water Collection Assembly
The data from the water temperature, normal load, differential pressure (gradient)
can be logged throughout the test. Plus the data from the load, water temperature,
gradient & the collection time and (X3) weight (volume) can be sent to the software
as a report update.
MeterSoft Software will connect to the same data collecting instruments.
This software's design will generate a report update of each of the programmed data
points at the moment each of the water collection events occur. This will reduce
the potential error of one of the data values being changed before the report update
is sent to the PC.


Data Acquisition System
This system consists of two main components. The data logging software and the
analog to digital converter.
Metersoft, is a user friendly software package for data acquisition. The
logged data can be displayed as "panel meters" on the computer monitor and a as
graphed data. The software allows each of the four input channels to be custom
configured. Logged data can be transferred to most popular spreadsheet
packages.
The analog to digital converter is housed in an enclosure with four analog inputs
(analog 0-5vdc or 4-20mA with 250 ohm resister) and a RS-485 input port to pole
and receive data from digital sources. (2 Drivers provided with the software.
Additional drivers available)
The system can be set up to log and display a combination of up to 4 inputs,

Typically the meters and/or sensors supplied by BT Technology Inc.
feature auxiliary out put capabilities that can be used for data logging with Metersoft
or others recording equipment. In some cases specialized cords or cables may be
required

Constant Oil Pressure/ Load Compensator Assembly
