Model SSTM-500 "Smart Table Model"
The newest addition to the United Tensile Testing line is the SSTM-500 lb capacity,
single-column materials testing machine. With all the operational features of our
larger machines, the SSTM-500 is an excellent choice for those seeking an affordable
system for low capacity testing, but who demand the highest in quality and accuracy.
The SSTM-500 is compatible with most United instrumentation and accessory
equipment. See Standard Features below.

(Also available: SSTM-100 for capacity up to 100 lbs.)

* Twin ball screw drive w/solid-state servo and motor controls.
* Crosshead guidance system ( maximum lateral motion 0.010" over full crosshead
travel.
* Anti-backlash system.
* "Emergency Stop" control via: rocker switch, computer or mechanical limit
switches.
* Interchangeable, electronic load cell weighing system.
* Adjustable overload stop - (Defaults to load cell capacity).
* Quick-disconnect load cell and fixture system.
