These "Smart-1" Table Models consist of three standard load frame capacities:
* 1,000 lbs (4.45 KN)
* 2,000 lbs(8.90 KN)
* 5,000 lbs( 22.25 KN)
The United Model SSTM testing machine is a computer inclusive, electromechanical,
test system designed to accommodate a variety of testing instruments and
accessories to test various types of material including ceramics, plastics, polymers,

Model STM-1 to STM-20

The United STM model is a computer (Intel Pentium III) inclusive, electromechanical,
testing system designed to work in conjunction with a variety of United test
instruments and software, written specifically for different types of sample material
including ceramics, plastics, polymers, metals and composites.
The complete STM line of testing machines consists of seven standard load frame
capacities ranging from 1,000 lbs (4.45 KN) to 20,000 lbs (8.90 KN). See Standard

Standard Features For All United Mechanical Testing Machines
* Twin ball screw drive w/solid-state servo and motor controls.
* Crosshead guidance system ( maximum lateral motion 0.010" over full crosshead
travel.
* Anti-backlash system.
* "Emergency Stop" control via: rocker switch, computer or mechanical limit
switches.
* Interchangeable, electronic load cell weighing system.
* Adjustable overload stop - (Defaults to load cell capacity).
* Quick-disconnect load cell and fixture system.
