GeoGrid Pull Out Device

Geogrid Pullout Box GRI GG5 AR-S-GG5-250

  • Carbon steel test box 48″ X 36″ 48″ (91 X 120 X 120 cm) adjustable opening in the front to allow for test geogrid positioning. Box is painted with corrosion resistant paint. A HDPE liner is secured to the inside of the box to reduce friction. (silk or nylon fabric is recommended to further reduce friction. Box has drainage ports to relieve water extracted from the soil)
  • Pneumatic loading bladder with a 48″ X 48″ X 9″ (120 X 120 X 23cm) max pressure 45 psi (310kPa ) Over 100,000 pound(444,800N) load
  • Pressure controlled via a precision “constant bleed” regulator
  • Loading pressure measured & displayed with a pressure transducer and scaleable display meter featuring an RS232 output
  • Sample grip consists of bolted clamp bars with adjustable linkage to secure to the drive system
  • Electric pull out drive with 20,000 pound (88,900N) cap X 6″(150mm) travel. Variable speed (1 mm/minute)
  • Pull out force measured & displayed with a 20,000 pound (88900 N) capacity load cell and scaleable display meter featuring an RS232 output
  • Digital travel of the pull out drive

Pull out Box Options:

  • Software and hardware to connect the pull out load cell, normal load, and pull out travel AP-C-DA-200
  • Analog indicators and mounts to monitor additional positions on the sample (2″ X 0.001″) AR-C-GG5-100
  • Digital indicators and mounts to monitor additional positions on the sample (2″ X 0.001″) AR-C-GG5-125
  • Software and hardware to accept up to 4 additional indicator inputs AP-C-DA-200A
