TECH ROLLER GRIPS

The concept of Tech Roller Grips is to allow materials that do not typically
test well in traditional clamping type clamps to be tested. These materials usually suffer from grip failure. Due to their strength, the materials must be clamped so tightly that the clamping process impinges on the material and causes damage along the grip edge resulting in material failure at this point The roller grip design reduces the force from the specimen at the anchor point by applying the force from the sample to the circumference of a metal roller portion of the grip assembly. This configuration allows high strength materials to be tested to their natural limits
